Quick-closing valves in single-hole basin and sink faucets generate hydraulic shock waves — known as water hammer — causing pipe noise and premature wear of ceramic cartridges. The AW Pax 3/8" x 3/8" absorber eliminates these shocks at the source, invisibly and durably.

Installation

The arrestor is installed directly on the angle valve under the basin or sink. The protrusion of L = 43 mm must be strictly observed during installation. Must be installed in pairs — one module on the hot water inlet, one on the cold water inlet.

This model is specifically designed for single-hole basin and sink faucets with a 3/8" x 3/8" connection and Ø 10 mm pipe. The shower and bath models are designed for exposed fittings with different connections.

Why must the arrestor be installed in pairs?

Each single-hole faucet has two water inlets — hot and cold. For complete and effective protection, one arrestor must be installed on each inlet.
